The Passion behind Roxbro House.

When the idea for Roxbro House was conceived it was always my intention to create somewhere just a little bit special, that was slightly different from other B&B’s. Roxbro House itself is a lovely old building built in 1887, and so I wanted to show a sympathetic and considerate approach when designing the interior. The end result is a somewhat grand finish with an opulent and welcoming feeling to this intimate B&B. I have used rich bold colours, tactile velvets and silks and beautiful antique furniture to compliment this lovely old house.

When thinking about the obvious necessities for guest accommodation I wanted to provide the very best, so our bed linen is a decadent 1000 count Egyptian cotton which drapes and feels like satin and our beds are dressed with the most luxurious Goose down duvets and pillows. In our bathrooms you will find sumptuous fluffy Egyptian towels and bathrobes complimented by top of the range Gilchrist and Soammes toiletries.

Continuing the feeling of luxury into the dining room there was clearly only one possible choice:- A classical timeless theme, using crisp white table linen , sterling silver cutlery and beverage pots , silver condiments, fine bone china table settings and crystal glassware. Our breakfast menu has brought us several awards, due to the extensive choice available and the quality of the produce used to prepare the important first meal of the day.
